No but the Perrine Bridge Festival is September 12th. It is gonna be like 9/11 times 1000. Rail Jam 2009. Good times for a good cause. So mark your calendars.

I'm booking my travel now for Labor Day weekend / week. Any suggestions on when to travel? It's not clear what's happening on Sep 12.

If it was like last year, there was a great fund raiser, and great jumps. Boat as well....

Luckily only 1 boating ticket was issued.... ;-)

I am willing to wait another week for that. Please confirm this is the 12th. Also, is there still a fundraiser?

My lovely woman and I are hoping to get down to the bridge at some point in September . We're zoning in on the Labor Day weekend or when the Festival is (since we missed that by a few days last year when we were there for the first time).

Hello everyone,

Abbie and I were volunteered to organize the jumping for the Bridge Festival this year. First off, who is planning on being in Twin for the Festival for Sept 11 & 12th?

Second, what kind of event would you come for?

As in previous years we have several plane demos planned for over the bridge and into the Canyon. If you are interested in making any of these jumps, send us an E-mail.

BIG WAYS! Thats right suckas, we would like to break the current big way record, which I believe stands at 5. Maybe a bit more than that, but I know we can do it if enough of you show up. Again, send an e-mail.

Clever jumps: I'm thinking a big aerial way with half forward and half back rotations, and no one with more than double digit jump numbers. Do you have a better idea? Bring it.

COMPETITION: 3 rounds of Old school IPBC type competition with judging on stated delay, opening, and landing accuracy, perhaps with the final round being RAFT accuracy. If you can donate a prize (cough Apex, CR, Asylum, Morpheus, Atair cough), that would also be cool. Maybe a $50 entry fee with half going to a Bridge Festival donation and the other half to the winner.
