This year we had 6 disqualifications.
2 with short canopy time
Three who did not fly their line in flight
And one landing in public area.

The rules is made to make the event safe for the athletes and the public!

Rules have been available for all athletes trough this page, base forums, at WBR registration, and all have been asked if there was any questions about the rules at meeting.

Just a note for next base race. Check where the finish line is, check where your line of flight is, pull high enough and do not land in public area.

I will urge everyone to be familiar with their suit and cut away system for jumping. We had one ended up in the power lines when his zipper got stuck.

New rules from next years WBR will be:
Wingsuit need a proven cut away system.

Some information about the top 8

All top 8 had Vampire 3 and 7 of them had Hybrid rig.

All times below 19:00 was with Hybrid. Ronny who fly very consistent, changed his rig to Hybrid and did personal best at 18.69

That was quite interesting to see, and all his times at Hellesylt was also very consistent around the same numbers.

WBR is getting the place where the manufactures is proving and after improving their equipment! Very interesting to see how it will develop in the future.

For those who do not know, this is two different races. One in Hellesylt where the distance is around 1 300 meter and Gridset 750 meter horizontal race line.
