Entanglement at Bridge Festival

If you were part of the 2 way waterfall entanglement at the bridge festival, the guy in the boat has a spectacular series of photos. He just happens to be my business neighbor, and I just saw the series of about 20 pics of the fine piece of work that was that jump. Here is a good one, but by no means the best, and certainly not as good as the pics with the bridle from one wrapped around the riser of another.

Mr. pilot chute holder, err, dropper, this buds for you!

If you guys want some of these pics drop me a line and I'll get you in touch with Bill. The ones I saw were blown up to poster size and many were "must haves". Break out your wallets because you will want some of these.

Perrine Bridge Festival. I wasn't there unfortunately but I know these guys, they're quite entertaining. Good jumpers believe it or not haha.

That is a great pic Tree, I just sent you a message with my contact info, I'd love to see more pictures or video of any of my jumps if anyone has them. Thanks for posting it. We have a few pictures that were shot from the bridge, they're on facebook. I'm the lower jumper. That was definitely not at Bridge Day but at the Perrine Bridge Festival on 9/12/09. We're both wearing our bright green Perrine Bridge Festival t-shirts. We both went to Bridge Day in 2005 and I also went in 2006 and we did some great jumps there.

On this jump, Walden and I attempted a waterfall, we left the bridge together with my pilot chute in his left hand. We were both packed slider down with 42" P/C's. I probably should've been slider up. He left stowed and pitched his pilot chute shortly after exit and held onto mine, but our exit timing was off enough that my pins popped before his did and we ended up colliding under canopy. I have a photo that shows Walden definitely didn't drop my P/C before my canopy started extracting. He fell onto my topskin and my pilot chute got entangled on his center rear lines, also his right foot ended up wrapped around one of my outer left front lines. I don't remember getting kicked in the head. Once he cleared his foot, I tried stalling out my canopy and turning right but I was being pulled left by my pilot chute and then we softly went in the water and the boat was right there. I had to swim out from under his canopy and we separated our gear once we were on the boat. Yes it was very entertaining. Walden yelled at me under canopy that he knew that was a bad idea, I yelled to get your foot out of my lines. I don't think either of us heard each other.

Haha, entertaining is a good way to describe both of them. I dont know about the kick in the head, it just looks like brian is getting his nuts stepped on.

I tried really hard to get my camera on in time when i saw what you guys had planned. I would give anything to have that jump on video from where we were at the bottom. the audio from the guys i was sitting with would be worth it's weight in gold

Now it makes sense. I thought the top guy got pca'd and that the holder dropped the PC. Either way it is a fantastic set of pics. Hopefully he'll make you a good deal on the entire set so that you can post them all. Everyone deserves to see all of these. Nice work and I'm glad no one got hurt.
