Feather VS Trango

Wondering if anyone has experience with both of these canopies? How similar is the material and pack volume? Flight characteristics like glide, shut-down and flare?

Haven't put any on a Trango. Just got a demo Feather 240 from Martin. Will be able to air it out this weekend and then I'll let you know what I think about it, obviously without a comparison to the Trango.

like Collin, i have never jumped a Trango. but i have put a few jumps on my Feather 260 so far and am totally happy with it. it has been good for slider down jumps as well, which i really didn't intend on doing with it, but it was there so that's what happens. the flight characteristics so far are awesome with a ridiculous amount of flare power.

it packs ridiculously small and lies down as you put it. it is almost completely effortless to fold away.

i do a lot of front riser approaches, and did notice right away that the riser pressure is a bit heavier than what i'm used to (primary canopies are BlackJack280s) but even without the input i got great flare range and power without the induced speed.

also, i weigh in at about 210 lbs.

hopefully i'll bang out another dozen jumps or so either this weekend or the next in the Swiss valley to really feel it out. will update as work allows. ;>P
