Nice pic! I didnt know they went that low in the 80's, at least over ground..

If you look near the nose of the canopy you can just see the blur of the velcro flap. The opening looks very different from what we see today as there were no tail pockets or tailgates in those days. The lines were just s-folded in the pack tray and the canopy free packed on top. As far as going low, around this time, BASE#230 did a PCA from 105ft above hard ground. Raven1 canopy packed the same as this.

Excellent shot... and sweet exit ... especially as the guy had only ever done 2 static line skydives followed by 10 hardcore BASE... hats off to ya Brian..
