The First amendment to the US Constitution doesn't protect my freedom of speech to offend others. Apparently that is called disorderly conduct.

"more of a guideline, than code"...?

Not only that, freedom of speech is only free as long as someone with more money than you is not offended.

That's much worse than what I said. By the response I got I'm guessing you'll have a swat team or the internet police arriving at your door soon to rescue your dog. I just told this motherfucker that was ripping me off how I felt.

I hate to say it Harvey but you've let me down almost as much as Abbie when he said to me last week that socialism was "good in theory".

So is the marine core oath just a guideline too?

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose or evasion; that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

Is Semper Fidelis just a guideline? The truth is we have a domestic enemy to the Constitution and that enemy is the Government. Does anyone really believe that the right to free speech was put in the Constitution to protect speech that was not offensive?

In Adam Lanes speak, this probably means he threatened the President!

Sorry I let you down buddy, but you haven't let me down because we feel differently. I do feel that in a small group of people who all are motivated to further itself socialism can work. Back in the real world though, to me, capitalism with some regulation is the only way to be fair and protect against cheats whether that's welfare abusers or corrupt CEO's and officials.

The real problem is the corruption of people. All these systems are, are ways to prevent the assholes from shitting on everyone. If everyone was 'good' (let's not get into a discussion of what or who is good) then anarchy would be the most peaceful and simple way to live.
