That's funny most all of these pioneers were avid CRW Dogs when they weren't doing BASE. Guess that makes me gay as well.

sickness. ive never seen CRW closeup - what is the deal with the pilot chute being in the middle of the center cell? i dont see a bridle anywhere? ???????????????

It's a retractable pilot chute. Generally they have a series of rings attached to the cells and as the canopy expands and inflates, the bridle is retracted to get the pilot chute out of the way so it doesn't entangle with one of the other canopies.
