Longest Wingsuit Jump in the Alps, Over Taconnaz Glacier | Long Live Roch!, Ep. 6

Three friends traveled to an incredible peak in the Mt Blanc range to make the longest wingsuit jump of their life.

Roch Malnuit, a local talented jumper, brought two friends to this alpine peak to share the experience - Vincent Descols was part of the team who open this jump at the beginning of the summer. Laurent Frat is an American who decided to live in France to live out his dream of wingsuit flying.

The trio started hiking at 8 am from Aiguille du Midi and reached the summit of Mt Blanc du Tacul (4200m) around 10. From there they reached the exit point (Pointe Durier) within 2 hours. The exit is at 4000 m with 200 m of vertical drop.

The flight is very involved and there is no room for error in the first part of the wingsuit flight. The second part of the jump in the video is over the Les Bossons glacier, which was the nicest moment of the whole flight.

The crew landed at the bottom of the valley after 3 minutes and 3000 m of flight!
