    Ant. security

Scoped out a new Ant. today. It has shielded coaxial cable running the entire lengths of the fences. It originates out of a panel box located on the side of the fence. no buttons or switches of any kind on this box. It does has electric power supplied to the box. It terminates at the gate, where about 10 inches of the cable is stripped back exposing the conductor inside. At every fence section(8ft sections) it makes a loop then continues on.It's definitely not intended to energize the fence, so any thoughts or experiences?

    RE: Ant. security

The cable that you are talking about is used in a lot of minimum security prisons. It is actually a motion sensor, if the fence shakes it will set off an alarm. So be careful not to shake the fence as you cross it.:-)
