Hey,
Wheres that video where the guy has a hesitation off some wall and opens pretty much in front of the camera. I think it looked like it was at Wall street.

i wish that video was dead, i hate it
Scary shit. Awesome job by the jumper for keeping his cool.
As someone mentioned in the other thread it looks like the hesitation occurs because the PC isn't inflating, as opposed to hesitating after inflation. Could anyone share more light on this situation? Was the PC trash packed, stowed for a long time, or was this just one of those freak occurrences we have to deal with?

I had that same shit on a 500' B when going stowed with a 46" vented pc.
She said she was 16.
She said she was 16.
It was a newer, about a month old, vented 42. It had been packed over night. I took a vented 42 off the same EP, hand held. My feet touched down on the white line on the edge of the road... Next time I used a 46.
Same question as FreeFallFiend asked of the earth video.........

Type of PC? From?
PC was packed before i left the house about 30 min before the jump. Used the mushroom pack. Wish I knew what happened.
She said she was 16.
Hey Chris, sorry to be ignorant but could you explain the mushroom pack? Is that like the mushroom handheld method and you just stuff it into the BOC?

How did it go with the 46?It was a newer, about a month old, vented 42. It had been packed over night. I took a vented 42 off the same EP, hand held. My feet touched down on the white line on the edge of the road... Next time I used a 46.
I could totally be wrong, but in my travels I have seen
little variation in the way jumpers pack their pilot chutes
for stowing in their BOC.
Also, describing a physical thing in words is not always
accurate but I have time to waste so I will give it a go:
With your right hand hold the PC just below where the
nylon starts, with your left hand pull on the attachment
point to get the mesh long, S-fold the mesh, then the
bridle inside of the mesh, use right hand to hold folds
in place and eventually mesh around the S-folded bridle.
Now wrap the nylon around the material you prepared.
Is this roughly what others do to put a PC in their BOC?

I grab the mesh of the PC, then i pull all the mesh "down" until the only thing sticking above my fist holding the PC is the ZP material. The i carfully lay the PC down next to the container. I do one S-sold of the mesh while keeping my hand around the top of the mesh to keep my efforts earlier from moving too much. The i start s-folding the bridal. Then, i take the left over mesh on each side of the bridal and use a single fold on each side to fold the mesh over the bridal. Then I take the ZP material and fold it in half over the mesh and bridal. (So now it looks like a semi circle and everything is all nice and neat inside. Then working from side to side i make small triangular folds towards the middle. (Bringing the outside of the semicircle in towards the middle where the bridal bulge is...think pie or pizza slices.) By this time I have a VERY neatly packed PC that is nice and tight and slides right into the BOC.
