Noone of them have ever been used... damn more serious now.
"Scientists tell us that the fastest animal on earth, with a top speed of 120 ft/sec, is a cow that has been dropped out of a helicopter"
Nice seeing Fast Pete in action, met him in Malaysia,
he is a cool guy, and the only guy to jump that B in
Borneo with Gary and I from the lower exit point.
Yeah, definitely some head high exits, a couple looked
like what Nick DG calls a "Frankie" - head high, stiff, and
if it wasn't for the deployment they would roll backwards.
Disclaimer - sadly I have done a few myself
As for the brake lines, my motis operandi is to route
them directly from the tail to the toggle for slider-OFF
in case of a lineover and through the guide rings only
for slider-UP because the pressure on the control lines
is what helps push the slider down.
I have seen several rigs set up differently... causes
ranging from lazy, ignorance, and complacency.
ok. So iīll make my first comment here on this topic because i donīt like reading about my self im the jumper going head high on one jump. No particular reason, just lazyness i guess. Andīitīs one jump showed from a few angels. And for the head high exiting thing thatīs just what i ahve learned to be the best way for lower jumps. This jump in particular isnīt that low tho but s/l 110ft-180 and low freefalls we tend to go head high all the time. The surge, the swing under canopy etc etc...
And for the steering line routing. Maby fastpete can comment on that. Thereīs too many topics on that allready. We know the pros and cons and our choise here up north at least is to rout it through the ring.
thanks and bye.
i jumped my 10 first jumps with line mod. after that none. I know pros and cons of not using linemod and my conclusion is to use it.
i think its not a big deal.
see ya and Fuck the Finns !!!!!!
