Hello Members,

LED taillights for your motorcycle are not only more economical than stock taillights, they are also safer, producing far more light is possible with standard bulbs. Fortunately, installing LED taillights into your existing light housing is quick and easy. Conversion kits are available through motorcycle retailers and catalogs. With the availability or relatively inexpensive and easy to install LED components, constructing an LED motorcycle taillight just isn't economical.

1. Choose the type of LED tail lights you wish to install on your motorcycle. The options for upgrading or converting your existing bulbs are endless, so it comes down to determining how easily you want to complete the conversion. Remove the stock tail light housing with a screwdriver and the stock bulb.
2. Install LED taillight bulbs for the easiest, quickest conversion. While these are a bit more expensive than over conversion options, they will last forever, and are completely foolproof to install. The socket for the light fits into place where the original glass bulb fit.
3. Install a complete LED light conversion kit on your motorcycle to match the look of the taillight. Full motorcycle conversion kits include five LED bulbs, one each for the turn signals and one for the brake light. This option will save you some money overall, as the individual lights cost quite a bit more than purchasing the kit altogether. Installation of this type of kit involves nothing more than unplugging the old light and plugging in the LED bulb.
