Man injured in city BASE jump A man has been injured in a BASE-jumping stunt in East Perth.

The man was among a group of three BASE jumpers who leapt off a multi-storey building with parachutes in the early hours of this morning.
Police are believed to be interviewing the other two people about the incident, which happened about 2am at the Queens Riverside apartment complex.

A witness said the man, who was dressed in black, landed face up in the middle of the road after jumping from the Adelaide Terrace building near the intersection of De Vlamingh Avenue.
Part of what is believed to be the man's parachute is still hanging from a street light this morning.
A friend came to help the man and they walked away as police officers arrived, the witness said.
It is understood ambulance officers helped the injured man further along Adelaide Terrace and that he was alone at the time.
He was taken to hospital with a suspected spinal injury, The West Australian has been told.

He is in a stable condition at Royal Perth Hospital.
Police are investigating whether any trespass offences took place.
