Description:

Guillaume Dupraz [23] died after an accident speed riding (skiing with a paraglider wing) in the backcountry of Punta Bagna (2737 meters), The area where the accident occurred is a site for beginners, the equivalent of a green slope skiing. According to some witnesses, the glider had begun to swing from left to right, making it uncontrollable. He finally crashed against a rock on the western slope of Punta Bagna on the left side view of the local school, after the black run. This was the first fatal accident in 10 years of flying at Punta Bagna.
