Description:

Max Schivari [36] crashed about 5000 meters up the slopes of Vallunaraju - After take off he rose up in the air, before his canopy stalled. He could do nothing and fell about 100 meters down into the rocks below. The 5 other members of the expedition: Luca Gardin, Sebastian Günther Mayr, Thomas Immelmann, Cristoph Vonmetz & Guido Trevisan immediately rendered first aid and was taken to hospital, where they could do nothing against the gross violations, Max died in hospital in Huaraz.
