Description:
A 52-year-old man from Pontault-Combault died due to injuries sustained from a speed-riding accident in Les Deux Alpes. He was speed riding with a group of friends on an off-piste area of Les Deux Alpes when he was said to have misjudged a manoeuvre, leading him to a 40-metre cliff drop. The man was found near the bottom of a waterfall at 1400 metres in the neighbouring resort of La Grave in a critical condition. He was airlifted to a hospital in Grenoble but sadly died overnight.
Speed riding when he misjudged some manoeuvre while flying terrain and fell 120'.
